BE A PART OF OUR MISSION
The Annual Fund is the foundation of all charitable giving to WIS and directly supports the students, teachers, and academic programs that make WIS great. Like all independent schools, WIS relies on its Annual Fund to sustain basic budgetary priorities and drive programmatic innovation, allowing the School to fulfill its mission.
The Annual Fund supports critical programs and activities across the School, including:
- Faculty Development to attract and retain the best educators
- Athletics to cultivate leadership, teamwork, and accountability in our students
- Service Learning and Exchange Trips to immerse our students in unfamiliar cultures and encourage community service
- Library and Media Resources to provide students access to a wide range of literature and technology
- Arts Education to support creative and behavioral development
- Financial Aid to ensure qualified students can receive a WIS education
Destination WIS will ensure we stay focused on expanding participation in annual giving across all WIS constituencies. We ask every member of our community—alumni, parents, past parents, grandparents, current and former faculty—who supports the WIS mission to consider showing their support by giving to the Annual Fund. Any amount makes a difference!
